If there are transmission issues, STEP 4 will display “e-filing information is incomplete” and list the issues.
Follow the prompts to fix each issue. When all issues are resolved, you can transmit the return.
Once resolved, STEP 5 will appear with your return status, stating (1) your return has been queued for transmission to the IRS and (2) to expect your Acceptance/Rejection email in 24-48 hours.
If you do not receive the Acceptance/Rejection email after 48 hours, check your Spam/Junk folder(s) for email from [email protected]. If the email is not found, access your account and review STEP 5 for information about the return status.
