This memorandum provides guidance on a pilot program testing changes to the LB&I Fast Track Settlement (FTS) program. Changes made in the FTS pilot program (as provided in the Attachments) have the intention of extending the provisions of the program to a wider range of cases and increasing the usage and oversight of the FTS program within the IRS.
