     These proposed regulations explain how an employer sponsoring a defined benefit
pension plan must calculate the amount of a 
employee's
 benefit that is attributable to the
employee's contribution in determining the size of a pension benefit the employee is
vested in.  A text of this proposal appears in the Federal Register of December 22, 1995.
