We redesigned the fiscal year 2019 IRS Data Book to provide more information on IRS compliance activities and service levels. As a result, many tables have been reordered and renumbered. Compare the new and old table numbers.

NOTE: IRS Data Book Table 9b has been discontinued. A replacement data series is now available in Table 17a: Examination Coverage and Recommended Additional Tax After Examination, by Type and Size of Return, Tax Years 2010–2018.
